Highland Virtual

FAQ

Questions, answered

Do you talk to my buyers?

No. Buyers answer your screening questions, get an automatic reply in your name, and then deal only with you. You get an email for every message, with serious buyers flagged.

Do you take a commission?

No. Every package is a flat fee. We don't take a cut of the sale, hold deposits or handle any money between you and your buyer.

What animals is this for?

Horses and Highland cattle. Live animals only: no pets, and no beef or other food products.

I'm not selling. Can I just keep records for my own horse or Highland?

Yes. The Owner Record subscription ($6/month or $59/year) keeps one animal's details, vaccines, Coggins, farrier, weights and papers on your phone, with reminders and a one-page record you can print or send to your vet, barn or a show.

What's a care record?

A private timeline for each animal: Coggins, vaccinations, farrier or hoof trims, deworming, weights, breeding, foaling or calving, show results and vet visits, with photos or PDFs of the papers. Add a next-due date and you get a reminder.

What's a shareable profile?

A public, not-for-sale page for animals you're proud of, like a stallion, herd bull or top cow: photos, pedigree, offspring and only the record entries you choose to show. Health notes and files stay private.

What do I need to send?

Good photos (both sides, standing square, in good light), any video links, registration papers if registered, and anything you want buyers to know. You upload it all from your phone through a private link.

Will the ad make claims about my animal?

Only what you tell us. We never add health, soundness, temperament or fertility claims. Breeding status, like bred to your bull with a due date, shows as your information, not a guarantee.

How do buyers find my page?

You share the link: Facebook groups, your bio, email signature, breed groups and flyers. Your barn or ranch page puts everything you're selling on one link.

Can I change the price or photos?

Yes. On the Sale Package, send us updates any time. On a Herd Page you can make changes yourself.

What happens when it sells?

We mark it sold. It shows on your page as a recent sale for 90 days (you can turn that off), which helps buyers trust you.

Do you handle health papers or transport?

No. Health papers, Coggins, ear tags and moving animals across state lines are between you and your buyer. Your local vet can tell you what your state requires.

Is this available outside my area?

Yes. Everything works from your phone, anywhere in the U.S.

Selling a horse or a few Highlands?

Send us your photos and papers. We'll have a sale page ready to share, with buyer screening built in.
