Privacy policy
What we collect
Account details (name, email), your barn or farm details, the animals, photos and listings you add, documents you collect through upload links, messages buyers send you through your sale pages, billing records, and basic technical logs.
How we use it
To provide the service: building and hosting your sale pages, screening and forwarding buyer messages to you, sending reminders, billing, support and security. We do not sell your information.
Who can see what
Anyone can see the sale pages you publish. Your account's private information is visible only to you and the people in your account. On done-for-you packages, Highland Virtual team members work in your listing tools to build your pages; they can't see your private documents or your buyer messages, and every visit is logged.
Emails sent in your name
If automatic replies are on, buyers who contact you get an email from a Highland Virtual sending address with your barn or farm name, and their replies go to your own email address. Document requests and reminders are sent the same way.
Buyers who contact a seller
When you send a message through a sale page, your name, email, phone (if given), answers and message go to that seller only. You may get one automatic reply in the seller's name. We don't contact buyers or sell their information.
AI processing
Listing facts and uploaded documents are sent to Anthropic, PBC, our AI provider, only to draft your ads and check documents. One customer's content is never used for another customer.
Service providers
Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI), Stripe (payments), and Resend (email delivery). Each processes data only to provide its service to us.
Retention and deletion
Your animals, listings and documents are kept until you delete them or your account. Buyer messages are kept for your records until you delete them. Deleted accounts are purged within 30 days. Technical logs are kept for up to 90 days.

You can export or delete your data from settings, or contact support@highlandvirtual.com.
